映画



近所の名画座で10日まで上映中のクラウス・キンスキー特集が待ちきれず、彼が主演する映画で未見のDVDをまとめて見た。「顔面最終兵器」キンスキーは、ヘルツォーク作品以外のほうが禍々しくて美味しい。ヘルツォーク作品だと、猛獣がその自然な住処にいる状態だから。

第二次世界大戦中に死刑を宣告された米兵(！)を演じる、マカロニ戦争映画'Salt in the Wound'は埋もれた名作。ドイツの犯罪映画'Creature with the Blue Hand(写真)'は、ドイツ表現主義とロジャー・コーマン、イギリスの犯罪スリラーが合わさったような楽しい映画で、しかもキンスキーは一人二役。あと忘れてならないのは、マカロニ映画の傑作「殺しが静かにやって来る」「群盗荒野を裂く」。

Couldn't wait for Klaus Kinski restorpective at Anthology Film Archives (-10th) and watched DVDs of his movies I had not seen. Yep, he looks more evil and delicious in non-Herzog movies. In Herzog movies, a dangerous animal is in a natural habitat.

'Macaroni combat' war film 'Salt in the Wound' which he plays a WWII American(!) solider condemmned to death is a surpriging gem as well as a Krimi (German crime movie) 'Creature with the Blue Hand（photos)' . In 'Hand', Kinski played a dual role and it is like German expressionism meet Roger Corman and British crime thriller. Also, don't forget Spagetthi western classic 'A Bullet for the General' and 'The Great Silence'!
